I've got the dongle updated, and it seems to be working fine. I have the 536 hidden in my car, and connected to it via the wifi on my iPhone which seems to work fine.
I just want to make sure I am not overlooking something: While the phone is connected to the scanner's wifi network, it is effectively useless for any other function (i.e. text msgs, google maps etc), do I have that right?
So really, if one wants to use an iPhone as a remote head in a vehicle, a second device really needs to be dedicated for this purpose?
