Can you clarify what "2362 (new)" means on the first entry? Is this (really 4 digits?) replacing 41440? Are you indicating that 41440, 43008, and 43040 are to be deleted from the DB, or do they serve some new function?

How do others feel about removing TGs that have not been heard in a long time?

I think some of these TGs are patched as I still get hits on the Tac 2 and Tac 3 TG's from time to time. I'm getting a simular situation with Springville Fire TG's as well.

I made some of the changes, but you have 41440 listed for two different things:

41440 UtahCo FD 2 Utah County Fire Secondary 2362 (new)
...
43040 UtahCo Tac 3 Utah County Tactical 3 ADD->***155.190 link***
has now changed to TG 41440

Sorry for the confusion.
41440 UtahCo FD 3 Utah County Fire Tac 3 NEW

43040 is still used on about 10% of the radio's as tac3. OLD

I think by the end of the week UCAN should be done with all Utah county radio's.

Thanks Brett. Let me know what changes are needed when the transition is complete.

It's confusing having countywide tactical TGs that actually have specific uses. I wonder why they use those notations.

Radio traffic in Provo today is talking about updating radios. Many are calling it "re-banding". Not sure that is the correct term?

43008 and 46272 seem linked when I do hear it so I'd say leave it but do add that it has been patched or linked together as one TG...

Yeah they are going to do that until all radio's are finished being reprogrammed. Talked to good source today that explained the changes.
We should wait about a week before we make any final changes to the DB. Then we can go forward as we will see the old stuff not being used at all.
Some new vhf county fire and also new BLM/USFS repeater freq's are being changed in radio's for wildland fire guys.

Thanks for the heads-up on BLM/USFS. I haven't made my annual search for the latest fire plan yet. For some reason the Feds find a need to scramble everything around every year or two (grrrrrr).

Some changes I've noticed currently....

Provo:
Fire is responding on what they call "Fire 1" which was the old PS3 talkgroup 45184 while I have heard fire dispatch now on TG 45408. However currently the dispatch was heard over both TG's (temp patch??) Not sure if this replaces the Provo Fire page TG 45600.

Springville:
Lately been seeing TG 45824 as a fire response for Fire. However today a crew member responded on this TG only to be told by dispatch to respond on channel one to which traffic resumed on the original 45792 TG which has been channel 1 since joining UCAN. Interesting fact.... as one time SFD was training and referred to TG 45568 as Fire 2 but now methinks Fire 2 is 45824???

UTCO:
The VHF freqs 154.740 and 155.190 are patched together as are TG's discussed above.

Definitely have to wait for more changes as I heard through a good source that Pleasant Grove will start dispatching for Lone Peak (Alpine/Highland) starting July 1. Not sure if it's both PD and Fire but They completed their reprogramming this week. I'm hoping to map a radio in the near future.....

Set up those Unitrunker/Trunkers folks..........should be a wild ride.....
