Is anyone receiving VB PD and FD. I can't get out to check my antenna, but there seems to be no signal.

Anyone else see this?

No VB Signal

Good to hear from someone in VABCH. I'm Will. I haven't turned on my scanner yet today. My son is sleeping on the couch.

I checked the analog system also. No reception period. Also the ORION (non-VB) seems down also.
STARS is beaming through.

if your recieving some comms then its prob in their system and or the wind is moving your antenna and messing with the 800 freq

Had to go to the oceanfront from north end area. Scanner started receiving around 31st st.
Lost it again about 40th.

I am very close to Plaza Tr site guess thats the difference

Is there not a "repeater" site at 31st St?
If that was down, and I was just getting the Plaza site, that would make sense.

it is at 29th St, and I asked a EOC friend and it is down right now

nows when you would need a ham license and get on the radios and keep each other updated thats what im doing right now but im just listening to them talking about that ship that sunk

I will gladly donate a higher shelf for the equipment. It is a rather "wet" area
