Vertex VX160V Repairs - Cue Up Shutsoff

Hey All,

Just wanted to see if I can get some pointers on where to check on the board for my issue. I was able to get a copy of the board schematics.

I'm using the VX160V normally and it will turn on with a fully charged battery and listen without any issues. When I attempt to cue up the radio resets. I've changed out batteries for known working units and the issue still occurs.

First thing I'd check is current draw on TX. I know you said the battery was good, but a 7.5v multiple Amp powersupply, as it's a portable you should be safe using a multimeter to check current draw, and Wattmeter with a ~10W dummyload to check output power (if any).
If you search online, the service manual is posted a lot of places.
