FYI - the following are the frequencies that are used for the VA Medical Center @ Coatesville, PA:

165.425 Police
166.1375 Fire
166.7125 Maintenance/Engineering
166.2125 Police
168.3625 Police
172.6875 Police
170.1900 Maintenance/Engineering
166.0125 Paging

The police frequencies are all P25, and the portables have the option of switching to encrypted.

I heard them doing head counts the past two nights at Long Beach VA on 407.075R D245. Both times at 2:00am. The reports were very detailed...# of patients, # of RN's, # of LVN's, # of MD's.

Sorry if this is old news, it was the first time I heard 407.075 active listening from north Orange County.

VA Frequencies

PT almost certainly stands for Physical Therapy. The escorts take patients to and from therapy and may even help work with them during therapy.

In the EMS world we usually abbreviate "patient" as "PT" when we compose a PCR.
