OK, just got a hit on the same frequency as I posted the other day: 155.4750 VLAW31 with 3 good bars and clear talking. All I heard was people are calling in and ratting out the B&B's that are suppose to be shut down but are still operating.

While I was typing up that last sentence, I got some garbled talk about getting a haircut.
All salons and haircutters are closed here in Vermont so we have to depend on the better half or ourselves to get out hair cut!!
As I said in the first notification, they are using villa 31 with no tone and I pretty much using it as There channel 2, I have not heard any chatter except up when I’m in Saint Johnsbury near the Jail on the regular statewide channel 2(460.5000 118.8) Even the court frequencies have changed now and they are the same across the whole state.

They do weather broadcast daily. Usually in the AM
Yeah I’m trying to get their new input frequency to the repeaters. White mountain national forest does a lot of their so-called dispatching. They are the North Eastern Coordination center (NECC) just wondering if anybody picked up their new input channel that’s supposed to be NTIA compliant

Those frequencies are correct and tones, Washington County is equipped with a digital repeater The top pleasant Mountain ( Williamstown) but they do not use it, Doesn’t do the coverage analog does.
Do you happen to have the code plugs for this repeater? If it is not encrypted, I would love to punch this new digital repeater in my scanners.

Washington county sheriff (VT):
460.3500R/ + DCS 411 The NAC I can’t remember now and there is absolutely no encryption. Washington doesn’t use the digital channel because they only have one repeater site and it doesn’t hit any range like it does analog UHF. They don’t use the statewide sheriff channel too much at all.
Orange county sheriff (VT):
1-460.2000R/ + DCS 432 PLS MTN (select encrypt/ Digital use also)
2-453.6500R/ + DCS 734 Sheffield Heights
3-453.4125R/ + DCS 311 Chelsea (select encrypt/ Digital use also)
4-453.2500R/ + DCS 465 Corinth (Pike Hill)
Orange Cnty does use the Statewide Sheriff Channel. The closest user to that channel in my area is Caledonia County off of Burke Mountain but very limited use. (Mixed mode)

Yup late at night last year began picking up some very much casual late night chat on 155.475 in the middle of the night. couldn't figure it out for some time until businesses were mentioned. Im north of Albany, NY with some good elevation, couldnt figure out who in my local would be on considering everythings been on 800 for a decade. a quick google search brought up the middle of southern vermont, decent reception being 40 miles in the mountains

joehawth: I don't have anything new to report for Lamoille County. Unfortunately I don't travel up that far north. Furthest north I've been is Sugarbush Ski Area , Warren VT, Burlington/Williston & Waterbury.

I hear them all the time on (VLAW31 155.4750 CSQ) Seems to be the new car to car channel. (460.500 has been quiet for about a year here.) I have got hits on my scanner on VLAW32. But I think you are correct that it may be false, because they are so close together and they are just using VLAW31.
I have never seen any spikes on VLAW32 proper when monitoring using RTL-SDR which also leads me to believe it is just VLAW31 in use. Will update if this changes.

*UPDATE*
VLAW32 (155.4825 CSQ) and UHF car to car (460.500 118.8) are both active.
VLAW31 is still active too.
