I recently purchased a used Pro 163 that did not come with an AC to DC wall adapter. My local Radio Shack was useless in locating a tip to fit the Pro 163's power plug. Has anyone out there had luck in locating an extra charger or adaptor tip for this model scanner? I was hoping to pick one up local this weekend. The tag on the back of the scanner says "13.8V DC 600mA". The salesman at Radio Shack claimed what he tried (TIPS) was all there stock, but I noticed tips missing and not labeled on the example mess of tips he tried. So I don't know if the salesman did all he could do. I looked on eBay but I am not sure that the adapters would be decent quality as I have seen complaints as to fitment or rating. Any information would be helpful.
