Saw an article that they were working with Motorola on frequency hopping radios. If true, forget hearing them as no scanner has the ability

I went to the Laurel, Montana WalMart recently and heard them on 155.910. The reason I was listening to that frequency is it's the Carbon County Sheriff's frequency.

It sounds like they might have had some off-duty deputies moonlighting or some on-duty deputies working a case.

It was a different county but they were asking for price checks on A/C units.

I don’t know about out here yet. But Walmarts back East are getting ready to give all their employees those smartphone like devices that Home Depot uses. Employees will be able to call each other as well as do inventory lookups and whatnot from the device. That is per family back East who work for Walmart.
