Yes correct, Marcywalmart 4 digit code thing...
google-There isn't a single "Walmart 4-digit store code" that applies to every store; rather, Walmart uses a 4-digit number system to identify individual stores
My son just was telling me about this last night, he's an overnight stocker at one of the local stores. We use the 4 digit store code every time we log on to a device..like you said every store has it,s own 4 digit code..
Marcy
this is possibly the 4 digit code that i was referring to.From what I understand, the Curve radios are programmed with a 4 digit code so that everyone is on the same code. Heard it is the same for all the stores.
Right, what I was talking about was the profile id, so each radio would have the same profile to allow them to talk to each other. If they used the store number as the profile number they wouldn't be able to talk if they went to another store to work. This is now going off on two different things, one radio related and one not. yea each store has an internal corporate ID #. Now, the curve radios have the ability to be programmed to communicate with each other using a 4 digit code as a profile ID # they call it. The default stated in the curve manual is 0000. Each radio must be on the same profile ID to communicate. The old RDM2070d's were similar in that specific DPL codes could be changed by the user. The walmart default code would show on the screen as code 057 which the manual charts to DPL 131. I'd imagine their walmart ordered curve radios would be similar, all walmart ordered models would have the same profile ID unless changed locally by the store. and rest of the discusssion, they also have the same internal wifi store network login, a zebra handheld could go from store to store, and there was an additional box for the store ID number, in addition to the users credentials

They keep the new curves locked up and people sign them out. Be nice if someone could get that code. All of the stores I have ever run across are all on the same hop code.
It will leak. If it doesn't then the Pentagon ought to ask Walmart for security suggestions. lolThey keep the new curves locked up and people sign them out. Be nice if someone could get that code.
...and when it does, they'll change it.It will leak. If it doesn't then the Pentagon ought to ask Walmart for security suggestions. lol
If people interfere with enough Walmart or the right ones. Otherwise, if people are passively listening, it's unlikely to get changed....and when it does, they'll change it.
That's all they should be doing if they don't work there and aren't on the clock.people are passively listening
Of course. That's all they should be doing if they don't work there and aren't on the clock.
I'm sure you're right but, there are others in this thread who have bragged about some of the things they've done.If people interfere with enough Walmart or the right ones. Otherwise, if people are passively listening, it's unlikely to get changed.
I was honestly hoping some of that was a joke...However, you may be right.I'm sure you're right but, there are others in this thread who have bragged about some of the things they've done.
