Regarding ProScan EDACS systems: Should the TGIDs 2047 and under be converted to AFS and over 2047 not converted?

FWIW I read some time ago a guy who sounded like he knew whereof he spoke that EDACS had no concept of the A/F/S notation. Maybe it was a Uniden invention?
