Packed up the laptop with PRO96COM, the 325p2 and TRX-1 for some sleuthing this AM.

Confirmed through monitoring control channel activity using PRO96COM and monitoring existing conventional 800Mhz frequencies to see how things are currently patched together.

TGID 65002 is WW LAW 1 - Walworth County Sheriff Dispatch

TGID 65004 is WW LAW 3 - Walworth County Police Dispatch East

TGID 65006 is WW LAW 2 - Walworth County Police Dispatch West

Also logged affiliations on TG 65018, 65054 and 65058.

Was there encryption on 65018 or 65058? I know 65054 is county fire no encryption

No encryption logged on 65018 or 65058 - at least during the limited time of monitoring.

Both of these TGID were seen on the radio affiliation screen only - no transmissions.

65002, 65004, 65006 confirmed as encrypted.

On my BC15X in Waukesha County I can hear Dispatch and the other field units but it sounds terrible like they have a mask on or something as they talk. It's really difficult when they patch encryption like that which I'm surprised they're even allowing encryption to come through Usually that's blocked for example Washington counties TRS they have certain patches encrypted from Ozaukee County

Not all law enforcement agencies in Walworth county have thr new P25 radios so the patches of the analog conventional channels will remain up and running until all thr agencies have new radios and are trained after that point the patches will be taken down and the analog conventional repeaters will be removed

Fire/EMS making the switch over has been delayed from June 1st to July 1st due to problems with the paging system not working properly, as well as issues with the Lake Geneva area tower malfunctioning

FD/EMS will have open comms, All PD will be full time encryption. There will also be "special event" talkgroups for pd/ems to use for public events or large incidents that will be fully encrypted. The 64001 TG was only for testing. From what i have monitored myself, they're using their WISCOM assigned number of 65 and i have heard traffic on 65002, 65004 and as i am typing now i am hearing traffic on 65006.
PD has been in the test phase since May 1st and June 1st FD will switch over for testing.

For sure, all Sheriff and PD traffic on the P25 system is encrypted.
Most if not all fire/rescue calls heard are now P25 and are unencrypted.
Listening on a Uniden BCD 436 and using the logging feature that comes with the Proscan programming software,
it shows that most EMS calls are made on talk groups 65053 and 65054.
The dispatcher no longer seams to mention the municipality, just unit numbers.
It is almost impossible to know what department is being dispatched.
Unless I'm missing something, the radio Id's logged, don't appear to match any unit ID's on any previously issued lists.
I would be interested in finding an updated list of all radio Id's now on the Walworth county P25 system.
