With the Medical Center's EMS Service here in Bowling Green utilizing Warren County's 800 TRS, do they still utilize the standard UHF Med channels as well? Also, if they transport patients to Greenview Hospital, where do they communicate with that ER? And, EMS services coming to either BG Hospitals, how do they communicate with these hospital ERs?

Thanks for the help
Dave

As for the UHF freq's, they are not used but are kept in reserve in case the 800 system should go down. To communicate with Greeenview, they can utilize 155.160 which most surrounding counties use. MedCen amblulances, including those in Logan county can communicate directly to MedCen ER directly using the 800 system. The MEDCen ER and EMS dispatch have 100, 400, and 800 capabilities, but most info from other ambluances is relayed through dispatch: even to Greenview if no contact can be made directly. Life is good with redundant systems.
