Warren County P-25 next?

This morning the Warren County Sheriff's Dept. dispatcher made an announcement that channel 1 would be down for service. I just heard and saw about a one minute carrier on 154.725 in P-25. It sounded like talking in the background, not encryption. A deputy just came on and said he "heard some kind on reverberation" when he talked and wondered if it was related to the upgrade. I have not heard anything about them going digital, but think they got the capability today.

I'm thinking now that it is a glitch in the upgrade. Especially today, many transmissions start in FM and then go to P-25 and inaudible. They def have P-25 capability but I don't think we'll see it anytime soon on dispatch channels.
