So, I stopped being able to hear Washington County. I looked in the page in the database and it said they have finally completed rebanding.

Is that right? I didn't see changes in the channels and frequencies on their public safety system. So, are those the correct control channel frequencies? What do I need to do to be able to get them again?

Short answer: the system has been reconfigured (but rebanding is not quite complete yet).

Depending on your location, you may not be able to hear the Washington County simulcast any more - the Council Crest site was decommissioned.

The control channels have not changed, and the same 10 frequencies are still in use, but that will be changing soon once all the other local systems finish up with the rebanding process.

I believe it has...

Hi! I am relatively new to this forum and just coming back to having a police scanner. Picked up the pro-164 a couple of weeks ago and decided to dive head first in to this stuff again.

So, long story short, I subscribe now to the site for access to the DB, got win97 and the cable, and started grabbing all the washington county freqs I could get my hands on. Filled a bank with all the stuff in my area. But I quickly found out that I only got stuff at home, not in hillsboro or washington county proper. The reason is there is still a repeater on council crest broadcasting on the old stuff. I rebanded my same assortment of washington county stuff in a different bank leaving my original bank to compare to when I was in hillsboro and the result is a night and day difference. While I can't speak for all the stuff out there, hillsboro pd, beaverton pd, washington county sheriffs office and EMS all seems to have been rebanded. I get nothing on the original bank but get everything on the rebanded stuff. Also, that 800mhz antenna I picked up a couple of days later helped a lot with clarity. Happy scanning and hope this helps!
