Waterloo, Iowa: Radio switch has police signing off

Ok last comment on the missing Black Hawk County Police and Sheriff channels....I have been informed by a very reliable source, BHC has NOT went silent YET...so I will be going to the hand held scanner instead of using this application....maybe the channel host was asked to remove the upper frequencies??
I know the Black Hawk County feed has deleted the channels I asked about...but can't get an answer....and from the " home page" the feed host will not receive an email..

When you stop somebody due to suspicious circumstances aka terry stop, you observe before you call in.. Not like they put it over the radio, then wait in their cruiser for 5 minutes then go out.. If it's an issue, use Icalls...or dispatch through MDC...

As far as robberies or whatever? C'mon.. that's movie stuff... counting down the seconds, etc.... a cop could literally be next door at Mcdonald's when the call goes out, where's your plan then?

When you're talking narcotics...You're saying TAC/ERT channels are broadcast, and give out enough info to alert someone? BS.. briefings are done before they go out, and when outside agencies are involved (fed, other) staging is done somewhere to bring them up to speed... OTHER than 'in position' and 'coming out' radio comms on scene of raids where timing is critical, is almost non-existent... I know some agencies will call out 'serving warrant XYZ at 123 st', but that's few and far between... Nothing a call to the PSAP can't fix...

I don't even need to get into the numerous fed interop channels that are used for chitchat, or UNLICENSED freqs used in agency radios (not uncommon)... I know ENTIRE UNITS that had simplex freqs programmed into their radios that I know for a fact they weren't licensed to use...

WE THE PEOPLE decide what gov't does, not the other way around..

Did they say anywhere that ALL Police Talkgroups would be encrypted? They may leave dispatch unencrypted and it would only be for Swat and Narcotics etc.
