Waterloo Region - Meshtastic node

I'm looking for others in the Waterloo region who are running a Meshtastic node, the LoRa-based messaging mesh network.

Meshtastic (Meshtastic) allows users with a mobile phone to send text messages (similar to GoTenna) or other telemetry to other radios connected directly or indirectly. The record distance is more than 100km (line of sight)

Please ping me if you are running a node or are interested. I'd like to build out a Waterloo communication network.

I plan to run 2 devices, 1) T-deck, 2) T-echo, in US band, 9xxMHz, I live near The Lancaster Smokehouse restaurant. Want to find peers to tinker with it together.

Hi folks, I just activated a Heltec V3 near Fischer-Hallman and McGarry. I will be upgrading to a solar node with a better antenna. I don't even get out 500 ft in my current config
