What model scanner do you have and what programming software are you using?

I believe you can still here Fire/Ems on Vhf Channels.

Wayne Co Fire is 152.240 Mhz. for tones and dispatch
Wayne Co Ems is 155.280 Mhz. for Tones and dispatch

I think Goldsboro is dispatched on 155.070 Mhz.

If you are wanting to listen to the Wayne Co. Trunking system you will need to have a Phase II capable scanner.

All Law enforcement is encrypted so no use to try and monitor them.

WCSO is the only LE agency using encryption currently and GFD is dispatched over GFD Main which is TG 3001. The analog channels for county fire and Ems are still used for paging. Also Wayne county is still phase 1 at the moment but is planning to upgrade to phase 2 by next year.
