Hi all,
I was doing some searching around the WCCCA database and saw there were some active talkgroups, which I didnt expect since according to the database, all first responder ops moved to the WCN system. Yet somehow, two of the CCOM law groups are on live broadcastify.
I tried programming the WCCCA system into my scanner, triple checked everything, and yet on my end its totally dead. Not any reception whatsoever from either of the two system sites. This despite the fact I can hear perfectly on Broadcastify.
Are the talkgroups patched on some sort of a delay or something? It says all law ops are encrypted on the WCN network which has me most confused out of all this, as I thought all law ops aside from park rangers and state + university law TGs are encrypted for all three counties, Washington, Clackamas, and Multnomah.
Does anyone in the area maybe have some insights or explanations for all this confusion?
I was also curious why those broadcastify streams arent on the scanner radio app, which I thought was linked with Broadcastify.
