Traffic U/D: EB I-70 now closed at MM-180 (Vail) and WB closed at MM-228 (Georgetown) so almost 50 miles of closure across the high country. US-6 Loveland Pass also closed.

If it's going to dump a foot of snow it's going to have to hurry. we might have an inch here in Thornton.
Yeah, not much here in Arvada, i would say less than an inch. The wind is blowing a little and still cloudy, thought i saw the sun trying to come out. But every little moister helps..:p

It's blowing snow here, but only a couple of inches on dirt. Not even really sticking that much to the driveway or streets.

Now Hwy-85 closed Ault to Wyoming as expected.

Let's predict I-76 in NE Colo will be next.

Winter Storm Warning has been cancelled for metro Denver, Ft Collins, Boulder etc. Another dud of a forecast.

Semi vs Firetruck

I-76 at about mile marker 39 Semi vs. Firetruck with a firefighter injured. Shutting down I-76 between Keenesburg and 3 miles east.

Sounds like multiple accidents in southern Weld County. Reports that firefighter down off of I-76 near Keenesburg, and they are closing down I-76. Visibility is zero.

They now have command units form Fort Lupton and Hudson assisting. Also heard that an ambulance might have gotten hit.

Operations on FG 11, 12.
