As i'm trying to organize my text tags on certain TGs and I like to utilize what the channel is called by LE I have some Weber questions. I know they called many of the channels Law 4, Law 5 ,Service, etc. But which TGs actually correspond to those? I know Weber North, Weber South and all but is that what LE actually calls them?

Morgan County: Anytime I hear an 11 Echo say 'switch" I hear no car to car (Morgan Peak, Lewis Peak, MT. Ogden) Have the FD and LE TG's changed in Morgan?

Any help would be appreciated.

Weber county sheriff uses law 5, south Ogden, riverdale, and Roy use law 4, north Ogden, Morgan, Uhp, pleasant view, and harrisville use law 6. When they "switch" they may use a different channel than you think. Some units still have vhf radios in their patrol units.

I did hear some car to car talk on 6464 on Morgan Peak and Mount Ogden that I believe was Morgan. It didnt match the DB or maybe it changed after they reprogrammed some radios.

Also if memory serves me Law 1 and 2 are Ogden PD Dispatch and Ogden PD Service but cant recall what Law 3 or 7 were.

Thanks for the info

I haven't been in Weber county for awhile, but law 1,and 2 are OPD. There is no law 3 it is the Service talk group for all the county law enforcement agencies. OPD was the main user of it. Law 7 was an expansion talk group at that time.

I did not look at the DB - But I do have family in the area. They are/were dispatched on that Weber County law, but the SO has their own talkgroup for chit chat which is used here and there.

In all honestly, Morgan County isn't all that busy to generate much traffic of any kind. Last time I talked to a sheriff, they ran radar with their cars off to save on the gas budget...
