Has anyone noticed there was no Radio Refernce Database update this past week for Sentinel? When trying update the master database through Uniden's Sentinel app it says the current database I have loaded dated 1/9/2022 is the most current. I am trying to figure out if it's a problem with my version of Sentinel or Unidens servers or if anyone else is having this issue?

Yes I noticed that too, just wait for the update this Monday, from time to time this does happen.

Sometimes if the computer that does the main update if down it will not update for the week if they don't catch it, try next week

Thanks for the heads up.... I will do that, I just hadn't seen that happen before.

If it fails again this week (tonight) I will look into it farther. As was mentioned, sometimes it just errs and aborts.
Today. "This version of the database is the current version"

Check where you're scanning. If there aren't any updates for your area, then there's nothing to be concerned about.

If something has updated, you can update it manually in Sentinel.

Same here as well. Hopefully maybe Joe @JoeBearcat will have answers for us to the reason why we haven't seen a database update for a couple of weeks.

It's the first time I have seen it happen two weeks in a row.

Same here as well maybe something is going on that's why they didn't push a database update I'm just guessing over here.

In the 13 year history of Sentinel updates, there definitely have been instances where the database hasn't updated for 2 weeks in a row... it's pretty rare, but it has happened more than once.

Nothing to worry about, it will get fixed. As has been mentioned, if something in your area has updated that you need to have in your scanner, just add it manually to a favorites list.

It’s just part of the overall shortage
No database updates
No cpu chips
No cat food

It did fail today and the IT guy deleted a lot of old files (over a month old or more) and started the run manually. It should be good by tomorrow.

Fortunately, electrons are not part of the supply chain issue (yet).

P.S. Since this issue happens about once a year, I proposed a more permanent fix. (automatically delete old HPDB files after 30 days)
