Just curious if anyone else locally is using very weird splits...
Penn Township in Lancaster County has a output frequency of 156.015 PL 71.9, operating simplex which it has had for a very long time. They decided to place a repeater on the air and applied for and received their new input frequency of 166.250!!! I listened to the input and sure enough there it was. Over 10mhz split between the two vhf frequencies.
Did the FCC screw up, or is this standard now to have a "Non-standard" frequency split?
