I just rewired and did a permanent install of my BCT-8 into my car. I ran a 1/8" to RCA cable from the external speaker jack out of the BCT8 into the Aux-In on my Panasonic headunit... However, when the headunit is in Aux-In mode the BCT8 refuses to receive ~39Mhz (VHF Low) signals... change the headunit to CD or radio and they come back.
I am planning on picking up an external speaker tomorrow and putting that in instead, but just wondering if anyone had seen anything like this. Sorry for the repost (also in General scanning forum) but I figured this forum would have the most experience w/ this scanner!
