Programming identical on all 3 scanners which are hooked to same antenna through a cable TV amp box used successfully for more then 3 years. Even moved the 500 to one of the 197 hookup with same results.

Not a hint of CC noise or data decode on the 500.

Since that system is a simulcast system, you may have too much signal, causing distortion from the various towers' signals not arriving exactly in phase. Notice that you have an extra bar on your 500 showing more signal. Try turning on the attenuation on the 500 to see if that helps out.

Thanks for reply.

I tried att off and even using stock antenna with att on and off. Still no joy.
I just now cloned to my 600 in the car. 600 works perfect on system with 4 bars also.

Alas, I get 99% 5 bars on Suffolk, Portsmouth, Norfolk, Chesapeake, and Newport News MOT systems and 4.5 bars 95% on VA Beach MOT + 5 bars 99% on VA STARS P25. + 5 bars 99% on Hampton EDACS, the predecessor of this brand new first day in operations Hampton P25 system.

Just a question. Why is there no 'T' in the PSR-500 screen shot like on the other two? And a comment, is the 'W' for WACN? Odd, but BEE00 is the WACN for Wyoming's WyoLink system too! Tom
