Westerly Police?

Hey Does anyone know whats going on woth Westerly Police Freq? I was in Westerly over this past weekend and I couldnt hear any activity on 156.210 which was there freq for police. What happened to it? Did they change the freq? Let me know.

And I must say... the R.I. P25 system sounds phenominal!
I was listening to Westerly P.D. on a 396, while walking around in the Providence Mall.
Sounded Great!

Looking forward to coming up in Sept.. be there for a week.

Could i get Westerly police on my regular Pro 91 Radio Shack Scanner? Or did I need a digital one or no?

You`ll need a digital scanner for this.

You also need a newer one capable of tracking a 9600 baud control channel.

My 785D is digital but will not track it properly.
