Does anyone know if the WWTRS has moved it tower form from Westland to the new tower it was erecting behind DHPD?? If not is there a time table on when this will be done?

When I rode by the Westland Police Station on M-153 the other day, the main tower was still standing there. Have you heard anything new on the Dearborn Heights tower? Have they started construction as of this time?

no I was under the asumption that it was to be completed by this fall. I guess now that I was wrong.

I know that the tower at the Westland Police Station is the Main Tower, so that one is not going to go anywhere, nor has there been any talks about it.
There was talk about putting a 300' tower behind dearborn Heights Police Station, but a lot of people have pitched a fit over it, so last I heard it was still in the holding stages. When and if they put a tower at DHPD station, it will be an additional tower to provide coverage, no towers will be taken out of service.

I frequently drive by the Dearbirn Heights location...there is no construction of any sort in progress.
