IIRC, it was just some periodic beeping. Didn't seem to carry any data. Only listened to it once though.

It's low speed data. Sounds almost like a Coaster Call base but could be a lot of things.

If you post the location where it was received maybe somebody can identify it. If it's in the US 467.2125 is a Industrial/Business Pool frequency. You can look up the frequency in the FCC ULS and see if there are any licensees in the area where it was received.
