DTMF - Brooklyn Park, Minnetonka, I think Burnsville, - I recall hearing at one time this was for in station alerting - such as turning on lights etc which made sense since the ones it was referring to was either a ft or duty crew staffing model

Brooklyn Park, Minnetonka and Saint Anthony use DTMF on the HFMAIN. Saint Louis Park uses it on their channel. Burnsville/Dakota County uses USDD Pheonix G2 automated fire dispatching via line-in (FT depts such as south metro and burnsville/eagan) with backup two-tone and the other depts use only two-tone.

Yes. Each Brooklyn Park Station has a unique DTMF as well as one that alerts all stations. Minnetonka and Saint Anthony only have one as they only run crews out of a central station. The tones active speakers, lights, etc
