Even better than that, look about a third of the way down the page of http://sd.ic.gc.ca/engdoc/main.jsp for the title "Radio Frequency Search".
how in the hell do u use that tfl I couldent find sh** on it

First: It's TAFL. Technical & Administrative Frequency Lists.

Second: What do you mean, how do you use it? Take the URL I provided, and look for the information I mentioned. Click on the search you want to make. If you know, for example, that you're looking for frequencies owned by the city of Smithtown, then click "Licensee Name" and enter Smithtown in the field on the next page. Or, if you have the frequency 123.4567 and want to know who uses it, click on "Single Frequency" and enter 123.4567 on the field on the next page. It's pretty simple.

Last: Try to avoid cursing, and do your best to use full sentences. Otherwise, people are less inclined to help you.

It wont be listed under Police. It would most likely be listed under whoever owns the frequency... ie. The city.

It won't be listed at all. Police, military, and many gov't services are blocked by Industry Canada (for our own good of course.. ;) )

"Darkwing" downloads the whole database periodically so it's not always current. Contrary to what his page says, fire and ambulance are listed, unless that is, they are part of a system shared with a "restricted" user. As an example, searching 866-869 in the Ottawa area turns up ZERO listings, but in there are two systems: a 15+10 channel EDACS system (City of Ottawa), and a 5-channel Moto system (2C1E).

this tfl thing dont even work for my city cant even get brockville police on it or nothing just city works

As mentioned by a bunch of others, the TAFL (notice the A) does not publish "protected" listings, which include many police services and military frequencies.

Brockville Police's non emergency number is 613-342-0127 and their email address is info@brockvillepolice.com - you may want to give them a call and see what they have to offer. You never know if they might give you an answer you like!

Oh, by the way - you're welcome!!

Maybe he didnt have is Maple Syrup shots today, or some dogsled problems. I know when my igloo had a leak i used my hockey stick to plug the hole. I had a hockey game that day, and I had to use my curling broom. Dang... i wasnt very polite that day. But thats just about the only day.

So in short:

TFAL only lists certain frequencies. Not all emergency services are listed. You might have to do some good ole scanning to pick up some freq's or something like that.
