Hi all,
I'm planning a trip this summer down thru Washington and into Oregon and was wondering if someone on this forum could tell me what Federal stations are still active in analog? and are still using their frequencies, I used to regularly monitor Customs,FBI,DEA,ATF,USCG Auxillary, USAF MARS,US Marshals,FPS,US Postal service, etc. about 7 years ago and still have the frequencies that I used to listen to that were active around the Puget sound area. I would like to program my BC-396 for the trip but don't want to fill it up with old frequencies. Since I no longer live within monitoring distance anymore I have no way to confirm myself, what is still in use or not.

I'm aware of the JIWN network and the new 380 Mhz stuff and also on that note I would like to confirm that there is now no analog USN stations that used to be on the 138-144 band?? is that correct?. From my old location in Victoria I used to monitor Ft.Lewis MPs, Bremerton,Bangor,Whidbey etc. all the time, and is Everett still using their 400 Mhz trunk system?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Rob

I don't have the ability to monitor this system with my Pro96..
And although the JIWS system frequencies round off on my Pro96. I have those programmed in my radio. I haven't heard anything on them.

I have the Victoria B.C C.R.E.S.T systeem programmed in my Pro96. I haven't heard anything on it,yet. I did hear them once during some sort of atmospheric event. But at the time, didn't know who or what it was,nor did I know I could search by sys id on here at the time :(
