Where to buy a Uniden base scanner in Madison,Co.

Does anyone know where i can buy a non-trunked base scanner in Madison County NE. That can pick up 800MHz conventional.

Try Wal-Mart and Sears. Both stores used to sell low end scanners in Grand Island. Also, check truckstops.

There are many online retailers that would probably have better prices.

Rob, unless you are dead set against Radio Shack products, Radio Shack at the Sunset Plaza in Norfolk carries a variety of non-trunked, 800 Mhz scanners.

Around Christmas time, I was looking at the Shop-Ko circular and they were carrying a couple of Bearcat scanners. Don't remember the model, but just made a mental note that they had them at the time.

And, of course WalMart always carries a few.
