Interesting. Scannermaster must be doing an over night delivery Thursday from the GRE factory in CA, and then shipping them out late Thursday or on Friday.

Universal Radio - not until November 20

I had mine pre-ordered with them for a long time. Called today to check when it would go out - they said not until November 20! So I canceled my pre-order and bought one from Scanner Master, which will go out tomorrow.

I pre-ordered mine with Glenn and received it this morning. A day earlier than originally expected. Pleasure to deal with Glenn, I would highly recommend Scanners Unlimited.

It is nice to see a complex new product on/ahead of schedule. Cell phone/pdaphone makers could learn a lot from GRE. Of course, GRE doesn't have the equivalent of a wireless carrier putting their fingers into the product dev process and mucking it up.

Ordered mine from The Ham Station

I had called Scanner Unlimited and unfortunately they were out and did not expect more for about ten days:0( He actually was nice enough to refer me to a couple vendors to try on the east coast (I am in VA). Scanner Masters site says 'In Stock', but calling was told 'no hope to have them tomorrow'. I hate to tie up that kind of money on a hope to have situation. Next called Grove and they were taking orders for TWO back-orders out !!! . Don't want to wait that long!
Finally called The Ham Station. He had two left (one now) and I placed made my order. Should be here by Tuesday. Ohh how I hate waiting for things! :0(

Looks like it is time to put the Pro-96 on Craig's List.
