Universal Radio Inc just lost a customer

I just canceled my order with Universal Radio Inc. It was going to take three days before they even shipped it out. I ordered it at noon yesterday and they told me it's ship out today. Well, I just called to get the UPS tracking number and they told me it wouldn't be shipped out till tomorrow. Three days to get an item ready to ship is not a very good business practice! Crazy!

I just ordered my PSR-500 from Scannermaster http://www.scannermaster.com/ and he said it'd be shipped out today.

I was trying to order one, but I jumped a bit late.

I ordered my FT-857D and a PSR-500 from Universal Radio, but when they projected the ship date on the scanner as mid-November, I cancelled it. Not such a smart move when now I'm not getting a PSR-500 from anyone....

Got mine from Glenn at Scanners Unlimited. He is one of the best in the business to deal with. Friendly, knowledgeable, and he even gave me a follow up call to confirm some details of the sale.

I think he had like two left after I pre-ordered mine a week ago; I don't know if he has any in stock now, but I would suspect not.

Correction to my last post. Scanner Master still has units in stock. I ordered one today.

Apparently I mistakenly marked them as "out of stock" on my list yesterday when what actually happened was that I couldn't get through on the phone. Sorry about that.
