Which Uniden Model should I consider?

Hello all, My questions are which Uniden Model Scanners should I consider buying if I am trying to monitor the Woodbridge, NJ emergency responders like the PD, FD and EMS? This town is currently using the Project 25 /phase 1 System. Is it possible to monitor these agencies?

SDS100 & SDS200 are your best bets, since Woodbridge Township uses a P25 simulcast system, which the SDS units are designed to handle. Some if the police and fire services are encrypted (marked as "DE"), though, but it seems dispatch isn't (marked as "D", according to this:

Thanks for your response and information. Does the D stand for digital and the DE indicate a digitally encrypted transmission?

D is for phase 1 digital -T would be phase 2 digital.A capital E is full time encryption-lower case e is part time encryption.
