Hey all, I am hoping you can help me. I have my Whistler 1040 programmed. Most of the frequencies I have programmed I can hear when I scan. I programmed my local police frequency into my scanner and did it the same way as the others and I can’t hear anything. If I log into Broadcastify on my phone I can hear it. Any tips, tricks or ideas as to why I can’t get it on my scanner?

Welcome to the RR forums:
Which police frequency are you unable to hear? I assume you programmed by hand?

Yes I did by hand. I am pretty sure I have these programmed, but will double check. I don't think I have the 37.240 programmed. I do have the other 3 I believe.

There may be an error in the RR database. The FCC license for the low band frequency (KZM737) shows 37.020 is licensed for mobile only. If that is the case, you should program 37.240 as the repeater output. I have seen cases where agencies reversed repeater input and output frequencies due to interference problems.
