I have added a couple talk groups to my 1065. I updated the scanner and now the colored led does not work. I work before the update. I did a reset to factory specs (0-1-Enter,hit any key). I have ARC500PRO for Gre and Radio Shack scanners (year 2018). No problem when using this software till now. Led is programed to talk groups and convention frequencies. Re loaded GR5 file same problem. I load a GR5 file that is about a year old and the led works fine. Any suggestion how to get the led to work with this scanner.

Thanks in advance

Please attach your GR5 file so we can take a look at it. You will need to zip the file to be able to attach it. Click on Attach files and open the zipped file.

Now all the tag information on the scanner is blank, just frequency is showing. I pulled a file off my 1040 and put it on the 1065 and everything works, LED ,Talk group alpha tags. The 1040 has Oasis tracking info but the attached file has (WiPSN) Wisconsin Public Safety Network. Same frequencies for both. Ilike the scanner for the LED function which is easier to know who is talking.

I have your GR5 file. I see 5 trunked systems without any names. I need to know which systems you are scanning and the counties and sites for each system to figure it out. Please give me the name of each of the 5 trunked systems starting at the top.

Just semantics,
I looked at it with PSR-Edit500, I see no channels, talkgroups assigned to scanlist 8, description - West Allis.
Scanlist descriptions are incorrect as 15, 16 are used.
Also bootup screen shows PSR-500 and not the correct model name.

I don't see why the LED is an issue in programming, could it be an issue with radio, loose LED connection?
While I dont use arc500, occasionally the programming plug isn't fully seated, my software wont send to scanner, sometimes a final push like 1/64th of an in inch and psredit sees the scanner then.
If the cable isnt plugged in, does arc500 still show it sending to the scanner? Just guessing the cable may not be fully pushed in is all and the radio is not getting the programming.

I do see as tvengr, the no description in your trunking. Maybe just change the description to Milwaukee and/or County? The name change again is semantics.

LED works with another file downloaded from a WS1040 and then uploaded to the WS1065. LED does not work with the attached file. OP should try to load the "bad" file again to see if the LED goes out. If it does, it sounds like a programming problem.

Yes i fully understand the led issue. It's why I threw out the plug seating issue or a loose led connector... throw a dart, see if it hits thing :) I also don't see an issue for the led in the programming at all.
