For those who may be interested, the Whistler Group now has their full scanner line available for purchase on their website. They also have an external speaker and a magnetic scanner antenna available. The website has a flash message at the top of the page stating FREE shipping over $40.

As an addendum to my post #1 above, I have noticed that the Scanner Master pricing for all 6 Whistler scanners is lower than the Whistler Group direct pricing posted above. Scanner Master, however, currently lists all 6 scanners as "Out of Stock."

They still won’t respond to my requests about my TRX-1 that went into service last August. I hope this true but I’m reluctant to order from them at the moment.

In the National Communications Magazine article it was stated that they didn’t acquire any of the items in for service.
