Whistler trx1 speaker jack

Hi All,
I use a speaker mike some times and all of a sudden the radio will not go back to the internal speaker.
I did try some contact cleaner and it worked but then it stopped and it does not want to switch over to the internal again.
I was wondering if anyone has had this problem and how did you fix it.
Also wondering if anyone has changed to switch.

I had the same problem. I inadvertently used a speaker with a plug that was slightly larger than the standard mini plug and the audio would not revert back to the internal speaker after a while unless I waited a day or so after unplugging. I ended up doing a lot of searching for a replacement, and finally found one from China. It was a difficult job replacing it because of the proximity to the top part of the panel chassis getting in the way. But I was successful in the end.

It took 10 days to receive them from China. I suggest you buy about 6-10 of them. It takes a couple of tries to get all the pins to sit in the holes and you will end up breaking a pin or two on the connector.
