I used the PSREdit500 software to program my ws1065 with the p25 phase 1 for my area from RR. When I choose upload to radio it says that all data will be erased on the upload. My question is if I select list 2 having previously selected list 1 will uploading a different set of frequencies from RR on list 2 affect what was uploaded to the radio previously on list 1? I have been out of the scanner hobby for a very long time and it sure is not the same. Thanks for any help.

Any time you upload a configuration to the scanner, it will completely replace whatever was in the scanner at the time. That's just the way the GRE/Whistler scanners operate. Uploading configuration data will not add to what is in the scanner, only replace it.

If you want to modify what's in the scanner, I suggest that you download what's in the scanner (or open the file you used to program the scanner if you have one), make your modifications to that file, and then upload the new configuration to the scanner.

Everytime you upload, it will erase everything in the scanner and replace it with what is in PSREdit500 (and ONLY what is in PSREdit500) at the moment you upload.

To add or make changes to what is already in the scanner, download the current programming from the scanner to PSREdit500 first, add or change what you want (set up which scanlists you want things in at this point), and then upload everything back to the scanner. Save a file on your computer for back-up also.

BTW, it doesn't matter if you're using PSREdit500, ARC500 or WIN500. Whatever is in the program when uploaded will replace the current contents of the scanner's memory.
