Whistler WS1095 Pre-Order

Since it's NOT in stock, I'd recommended closing this thread to avoid any further confusion.

This website is a big joke. These scanners are of course not in stock. Don't get fooled.

The FCC has not even approved the radios so they can't be sold.

I do not even need to read the fine print. Who cares about it.

When I see a bogus website with pictures stripped from other sites then the red flag sure is raised.

Dont get scammed.

I don't think it's a scam site. I think it was a mistake on their part. They were upfront and promptly cancelled the sale with an apology.

I should have looked closer but it was the middle of the night and I felt like gambling I guess.

I don't think there is little doubt that they are hoping to "cash in" on this new .. (and not released yet) scanner.

My opinion, beware and time to move on and buy elsewhere just out of principal to show them we are not going to be taken advantage of.

Don't think that anyone is blaming you for anything. You were almost conned into thinking it was available. Don't think it will be available for a bit.

The only people that should be sorry is ZipScanners for trying to dupe people into spending money on what will undoubtedly be a great scanner.

Wow, that sounds a little bit scary & risky to me!! Thus because Uniden really messed up with features on the BCD536HP being advertized & still to this day over 1 year later & not released yet still even though, the features that Uniden has still not released for the BCD536HP are advertized today on the box regardless. Therefore, it makes me a quite suspicious of buying the WS1095 when it comes out being that Whistler cannot handle their own product & have decided to hire Uniden's engineers part time to help out with the build & design of Whistlers new WS1095. I was not aware of Whistler hiring Uniden's engineers part time for the WS1095 until I read this thread here.
