What port does the WiFi dongle use? Trying to use Proscan to listen ad it asks for a port number.

You need to check your router and see what port it assigned.

The router WILL assign the port number. Everyone's WiFi setup is different. It will likely assign the next available port after all your other WiFi devices, when it connects to your wifi.

That is the IP address. Not the port used by the dongle.

I think you mean IP Address.

Scanner Menu -- Wi-Fi Setup -- Show Wi-Fi Information. The IP Address is there.

Audio; use this format rtsp://192.168.1.5/au:scanner.au
Data; use this format 192.168.1.5

Actually the destination ports are fixed.

Data (Scanner side) UDP 50536
Audio (Scanner side) TCP 554
Audio (Computer side) UDP 53600
