I rest my case. Targets in Latin America, Africa and south Asia where Internet and satellite and receiving equipment is at a premium. And ridgescan, give it a year or two. I used to listen to RNZI all night long on 17 MHz.

I been around on HF since the 1970s when I was WD8LYE. I have heard a lot of amazing stuff. If we live long enough and we get better sunspot cycle conditions it will come back. It will not die. There is something neat about working someone on a gray little box yourself with no computer, Internet or satellite in between. If you want some really frustrating try QRP on 20 meters sometime.
