WIN95 Programming

I recently purchased a pro 95 and also downloaded wind95 program. It works great. The question I have it what exactly does the 2 second delay do? Is it something that I need to use? Thank you.

It holds the frequency 2 seconds before resuming to scan. Helps you from missing replys from the original call.
