WIN97 "Incorrect Model" Issue

I have the WIN97 Program and the RS2055 and the RS Comm Cable. I've used the program (and the cable) a number of times during the trial period. Last night I registered the software. Now when I try to push changes to the scanner, I get the following message on the scanner "Incorrect Model". It also blew away the current configuration after I tried to make the changes a couple of time (so I lost all my programming). I've tried restoring earlier version of the file to the scanner, with the same issue. Any help would be appricated.

Same just happened with me. Haven't found a cause or solution yet, although I'm still looking.

Program has been working great for several uploads until tonight.
