Windows 7 64 bit and Grecom cable???

Does anyone know if the Grecom cable that connects the PSR500/600 to the computer for programming will work on a Windows 7 64 bit system?

Win 7 64 bit

Go to the device manager and right click on Ports. The driver with the cable should have an ! or ? because it did not install properly. Right click and choose Update. Let windows search the internet and it should find the correct driver. I just did this two days ago on my new laptop, and it works great.

Mine has been working for years. I do not recall any nightmare issues in setting it up.

Yes, the cable will work.
I have recently upgraded from XP to Windows 7 64 bit.
Within the last week I downloaded the cable driver for Windows 7 from the GREAmerica Website. Look under the DOWNLOADS icon.

I'm having the same problem. My PC running Vista crashed, so I loaded the s/w onto my laptop which has Win 7 / 64 and I'm getting error messages about the cable. I'll try what's suggested above.

I just installed on an HP Envy running 8.1. Everything seems to be OK. I did an upload and download as a test plus ran Monitor/Control. Driver is FTDI 2.08.30.
