I have used it for many years, since it was first introduced. I have written several small programs to give me enhanced or what I felt were missing features.

For example before I had any wideband displays on SDRs, and using the old WinRADIO WR-1000 and WR-1550e I wrote a program to display multiple bands of interest that were scanned and activity shown, basically it looked like a spectrum display on an SDR today but the scan and update rate was much slower.

Today I have a couple of programs that I use with the Excalibur, the Excalibur Pro, and the Excelsior. I have one that scans a set of frequencies, defined by a text file, and logs the activity (time and signal amplitude) to an Excel spreadsheet, so that I can later produce a chart of activity. This is useful to see the sequence of a given service hitting its frequencies. Another RBASIC program I built sets the offset point when using the Excalibur or the Excalibur Pro with a down converter or a VHF/UHF radio as a front end, such as the Icom R8500.

Other RBASIC programs I have written for memory management and scanning, along with interfacing to external hardware.

The interface to the SDRs is not quite as complete as it was to their previous series of radios. I hope they will continue to develop RBASIC to support some of the features of SDRs that are not currently supported, but I rather doubt they will.
