Total snowfall for the Denver metro area by noon Wednesday is currently forecast to be 5 to 10 inches, with 8 to 14 inches in the mountains and foothills along the Front Range. A WINTER STORM WARNING is in effect for the Denver area, adjacent foothills, east to Watkins through noon Wednesday.

Sounds like total whiteout conditions up north of Wellington.

Plenty of power outages being reported.

I-25 snowpacked and icy from Ft. Collins to Longmont.
Longmont to Hwy52 was slushy. 52 west slushy but snowing harder and may yet freeze.

Plows working hard and keeping things in relatively good shape.

The usual characters are off the side of the road facing the wrong way.

Days like this I think the State Patrol works more for the insurance companies than anybody else....
