Wire, Can I wrap it

Need to change my outside wire. When going through trees, is it bad to wrap around a branch once for stability?

Out side my home. Big storm a couple weeks ago did big damage to allot of my trees. Have to redo the current setup. Changing direction and will have a large gap with no support. Want to wrap it somehow on both ends to keep it taunt. About 25 feet in the air.

not too tight as that can snap it, think big enough dip in it.
