I see some one has submitted information and id's for this system I live in Fort Erie and listen to this system also, I have a scanner know with a discriminator tap and have Unitrunker up and running, I was wondering if this is the way you are getting the information on these mpt1327 systems. I would also like to decode these trunked systems and submit the information to this web site. Any help with listening to this system appreciated.

Hi Mike, I can use Unitrunker with or with out a tap and it works ok I get 100% signal either way I use it on mpt1327 systems, I was just wondering if the person submitting the information was using the same progam we can work together and share setup and files and other information, also one of us can listen to one site and another one can listen to another site and this way cover more ground, I have tried other decoders and right now I am using Unitrunker.

The info was gathered off a NF fire radio. My buddy who wroks at fire dept was talking to the techs one day and he asked how it works. We used unitrunker to confirm our findings and gather site information. The radio techs are also helpful. Maybe they think they are scrambled or something but they gave away a lot information on the airwaves. Really interesting system to learn about. Guess the fire dept hates it.

Corrections:

001 OK
002 420.87500 is a voice channel, not a control.
003 This site is a duplicate, and incorrect. Remove.
004 This site is a duplicate, and incorrect. Remove.
005 This site is NOT in service, confirmed. Remove.
006 420.35000 is a voice channel, not a control.

104 OK

On the talkgroups submitted, the full fleet and prefix should be shown as there are other 900 talkgroups on the system. From what I was told fire TGS show up on simataneously on the Falls and Thorold towers for the fire radios. I will submit more talkgroups soon.

EDIT: I was also told it was a networked system so you will see some TGs on some towers, but not on others. Other talkgroups go on every tower.

Make sure you submit the info to the database so it can be added.

It's not possible to add the full fleet and prefix at this time since the database can't handle it.

Thanks Terry for all the information and taking the time to submit this information to the web sit, very helpful, I was using Unitrunker last night on the Fort Erie site and then tried the Niagara Falls tower and Unitrunker could not get a good signal to decode thru my discriminator tap, I went thru my ear phone jack instead and got a 100% decode rate. I saw some of the mistakes, the same information that was wrong your talking about but did not say anything because I was not sure it was wrong, I just started to use unitrunker on the Fort Erie Site, Niagara Falls Site, and Thorold Site and I'm still new to the program and not good at figuring out what all the information is that unitrunker is showing

One intriguing thing I heard on my local (TimeTrac) MPT network is network
calls split between sites. I happened upon two one-sided conversations on different
sites, which, put together made a complete conversation. Neat to hear the
two sides coming from different radios, one on the other side on the room...
made for a kind of spatial dimension effect...
