Great looking shack, I like the black desk L shaped layout 👍 Hows your RFI with 3 monitors and two power strips filled with plugs and wall adaptors ? S9 noise floor lol , just kidding. If it were me I would just keep the ICOM desk top if it is HF and get rid of all the SDRs and computers or better yet get rid of all of it and just keep the Sony when you get it and use it on batteries only lol Then the 2010 would be a DX machine. 🌎

Yes it is 34" UltraWide so far it works well for me and what I use it for
I like having it and my SDR-IQ so wherever I am I can listen to either the Scanner or HF

you connected that to a pc or mac? How much?
PC and it is 300.00 right now (I paid 280.00) at Best Buy

Wow what an epic find like seriously dude. Did you get it off
eBay ? I don't think there has ever been an NOS 2010 on ebay and if there was it would be extremely rare. I don't think I could use that radio in that condition, I would box it back up and look at selling in 10 years. It would be worth a good chunk of change 💰
I wonder is Sony caps go bad from sitting for decades ? That would be a dam shame.

Yes I did get it off of eBay
I am not sure on caps but from my (little) electronics experience I would say they should not go bad in used

Your lucky and good for you to find such a high performance radio even using just the back of set antenna. I remember when I bought mine new in the 80s I did not even use my 100 foot long wire antenna on the 2010 it was not necessary because the radio was so sensitive.

Nice clean organized shack, the ultra wide screen is great.
Also does the ICOM HF receiver still get used a lot or you

I use the R71A a good bit (Well when I have time to listen - and that is not a lot lately)
The RIght side of the Corner Desk Monitor has a Waterfall (SpectraVue with my RFSpace SDR-IQ)
The big monitor has SDRPlay RSP1A and SDRUno Waterfall - Along with the very handy SDRUNOCSVUserListBrowser
(Along with my AutoDesk Inventor 3D Modeling Software )
